  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors
  • Safety eyes – 12 mm
  • Safety nose – 12 mm
  • Stitch Marker or a short length of yarn

Remember that you may use any yarn/crochet hook of choice but expect to have a difference on the size of the finished product.

ch           – chain

blsc     – back loop only single crochet

DEC     -decrease (as this is Amigurumi, please do an invisible decrease)

fo         – fasten off

INC      – increase

MR      – magic ring

sc        – single crochet

RND 5 – 6      Repeat RND 4 twice, fo

            Leave enough yarn for sewing.

            Attach the Safety Nose – 12 mm at the center.

 

Ears:

 

Make 2 of this using Red Heart Super Saver – Cafe Latte

 

RND 1            6 sc in MR [6]

RND 2            6 INC [12]

RND 3            {4 sc, 2 INC} repeat twice [16]

RND 4            16 sc [16]

            Leave enough yarn for sewing.

            No need to fill with Fiberfill.

Check if the last sc is at the middle of the Head containing the Safety Eyes, if not, you may increase by adding additional sc or decrease the count of RND 39 accordingly so that the last sc will be at the middle.

In this case, 2 ch has been added to make the last sc at the middle.

 

Let’s do the division of Leg 1 and Leg 2 by doing a ch, sl st.

Ensure that there are 14 st both sides.

Don’t tighten too much the sl st as you will do an sc in it.

Leg 1:

Continue using the Red Heart Super Saver – Blue

Leg 2:

Insert yarn to create a loop.

Repeat the steps of Leg 1.

Ensure that you have properly stuffed the body and legs before doing RND 7 to 16.

Necktie:

ROW 2 – 5     Repeat RND 1 for 4 times

Badge:

            Leave enough yarn for sewing.

  1. Sew the Ears (you may curve it a little). Do not stuff it.
  2. Sew the Snout. Ensure to stuff it properly
  3. Sew the Arms between RND 23 and RND 24 of the Body.
  4. Sew through the front loops to close the Shoes
  5. Sew the Neck Tie at the middle of the neck.
  6. Sew the Badge at the left chest side of the Bear.
